This page is for projects outside of level design and narrative design but, may still contain elements within both of those categories. These projects are currently in development and are independent. They can vary from, programming, 3D Creation (Blender), cutscenes, UI, GDD´s (also found under the correct game on ArtStation), mini movies, voice acting, system design, and audio (music that have been created by me). Here I want to showcase my other skills where I show my willingness to learn more about game design, and anything and everything within game development.
UI, main menu, ue 5
I created a main menu screen similar to the likes of The Evil Within for my horror game. I placed out the assets, characters and lighting for the 3D UI. There are hover and click sounds, background music, and going to the different options, makes the camera seamlessly transition from one Widget to the next one.
Lua, python, javascript, html, css & c++
Using ZENVA, I have completed programming courses with certifications in order to broaden my knowledge and skill set. In the video you can see not only the code, but the progress and the end results. I used Roblox Studios for Lua and Visual Studios for the rest. With Lua I created a platforming game, with Python I created my own chat bot, with JavaScript I created a language learning game using HTML and CSS, and with C++ I created Data Structures.
Character, controls & camera - fps shooter ue 5
This is a polygon FPS set in modern time. In this quick showcase I am showing off, character movement with feel, camera handling and the controls of the player. In addition to the previous mentioned systems, there are other systems added to give the feeling of realism. Project is still in development, there will be AI combat, fights, weapons, level design and so much more.
mini movies (ww2 & john wick style) - ue 5
I started script writing and wanted a way to turn my text into movies. I use Fabella for voices and UE 5 for the movies. Loving the action behind the John Wick movies, I had written a restaurant scene where the main character gets his revenge on the ones who took his family. The mini movie in the WW 2 setting is more down to earth, a solider gets wounded and later nursed back to health. The solider falls in love with the nurse who has a brother that is MIA. He goes out to find the brother and what happens next, well you just have to wait to find out.
laser scan - blender
I want to learn Blender, ZBrush & Maya to have a better understanding of one of the different stages in game development. I picked up Blender first and went ahead to create a laser scan I intend to use in my horror game. I will be using Blender and Maya more to also create stylized assets for my stylized game I am creating.
cutscenes - ue 4 & 5
Over the course of two years I have been in charge of creating cutscenes for different projects. Gaining a liking for it also made me chose to create mini movies. It started simple, until I started to challenge myself, using various cameras, angles, characters, audio and animations. At the end of the video you can see the trailer I made for one of the game projects.
music - ableton 11 & audacity
During my spare time I write songs, so understanding and making music comes as an instinct to me. I have created different types of songs that have been used in games, or ones that will be used in future titles. They vary from hip hop, techno, horror and so much more. In the video I have compiled all the songs I have created, enjoy!
voice acting - ue 4 & 5 - fabella - audacity
I love acting and voice acting. While I may not be good, I see it as a way to start somewhere. In order to master something, you need to practice, so I practice. For now I have kept it simple and played more of an evil role, but I can see myself in the future doing other voices which I am more than capable of pulling off. Before joining FutureGames I had my own YouTube channel and my own Podcast, so being behind the microphone and cameras wasn´t anything new to me.
